Why are some people happy to buy a €2 packet of multi-vitamins while others want something more expensive or packaged differently. What motivates a person to buy a Ferrari rather than a Fiat Punto? After all they are both cars and able to drive at the maximum legal speed limits of most countries.

One possible reason could be SELF image “selfworth” and a want for the best you can get. The other is the respect and/or admiration of your peers. Recently a friend of mine purchased a flat screen LCD 3D television for his home. It was a nice piece of hardware engineering. I asked him what was wrong with his previous LCD television, and he replied this ones better, its in 3D. He didn’t say that its ONLY 3D while wearing the 2 supplied specticles you need to wear while watching the program. So much for a guys evening watching the world cup in 3D, unless we take turns handing over the glasses.

So what could it be then ? The feel good factor is the key I believe. For example, I wash daily with a 7 stage skin care system thats costs €200 for the complete kit. It just makes me feel good, very good infact. Yes, I could just buy a bar of soap and wash my face. But I feel I am worth more and I want more. This daily “ritual” is an inspiration for the whole day.

In addition I consume daily a technologially advanced gel based vitamin and nutrition series of products. Again these product are not targeted at the sector of society with financial issues. I feel better than Mr average, like I’m a success…

In my mind and belief, I am living a healthy and active lifestyle. I am happy and I am happy to share my story. For some however, they have the self image they can’t aford it, or are not worth such a self indulgance, so they don’t even try.

To be honest, if I was asked in the beginning, would I buy and use daily a €200 skin care system, and/or consume €100 of vitamins and nutritional products per month. I would call you crazy. Now I am emotionally bonded with this feel good factor.

I feel I am worth it and getting a huge bargin, even if only on an emotional level!!
